Jayam Movies’ Second Production “Atu Itu...

Jayam Movies Banner was founded by Teja to take Telugu Film Production to a corporate level. The banner’s first production “Alivelu Manga” is being made in the direction of Kodi Ramakrishna. Even before the release of the first movie, the movie banner is getting ready for its second movie. The title “Atu Itu” has already been confirmed for the movie. Renowned producer, D Suresh Babu is presenting the movie while Srivalli Teja, wife of Teja is producing it.

Tamil actor Shyam, who played a significant role in Ravi Teja’s Kick, will be playing a key role in the movie. Similary, a prominent actress is said will be playing another important role. Hero and heroine of the movie are yet to be selected. Makers of the movie are looking for new talent between the age group 16 and 19. It is said that they are looking exclusively for Telugu actors. The director of the movie is also to be selected. Movie makers asked Teja to take up the task, but still to be finalized. The other star cast of the movie includes Tanikella Bharani and Dharmavarapu Subramanyam. Music will be scored by Kalyan Malik.

“Kanchivaram” directed by Priyadharshan is the winner of the best National Award Film. Prakash Raj won the best actor award for this role in the movie. “Kanchivaram” is now being dubbed into Telugu. The movie is expected for release in Telugu in the last week of October.

Shriya Reddy. who acted in a couple of Telugu movies played the female role in the movie. “Kanchivaram” was produced by Shailendra Singh under Percept Picture Company/Four Frames Pictures. Music is scored by G. Sreekumar.

His new film “Mahatma”, which is said to carry a good message is in similar controversy. As a result, the release of the movie is postponed

The sensor board raised concerns over few objectionable scenes in the movie. One of such scenes that the board feared would create problems after the release is the lyric ” indiramma inti peru kaadhura gandhi ……..” The board advised filmmakers to remove such scenes to receive approval for theatrical release. The filmmakers opined that the central theme of the movie would be spoiled if the scenes suggested by the Board are cut. But the board asserted that unless such scenes are cut, it would not certify the movie for theatrical release.

Earlier, “Mahatma” has been in news for some good reasons. This mega project is Srikanth’s 100th film. The opening function of the movie was graced by big shots like Chiranjeevi and Dasari Naraya Rao. The audio of the movie was released by the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi. But now, the controversial bug hit the movie and the release is postponed to 9 October. Earlier, the movie was scheduled for release on October 2, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi.

Mahatma is not about Mahatma Gandhi we are talking about. It is a new movie starring Srikanth. He will score a century with “Mahatma” in his career. This film is directed by Krishna Vamsi. We all know about Khadgam (2002) setting new records at the box office in which Krishna Vamsi and Srikanth teamed up. Now they intend to repeat the same with Mahatma.

Srikanth is all excited about this film and will be romancing Bhavana. As per the script, the story needs another female actress in lead who hasn’t been decided yet. As Krishna Vamsi’s Sasirekha Parinayam (2009) hasn’t done quite well at the box office, he has high expectations from “Mahatma.” Mahatma is therefore expected to be a “Maha” hit at the box office.
